Brian began ministry at ClearView in February of 2022. He grew up in the Birmingham Metro area, met his bride to be on their first day at Samford University, and has served local churches as an Associate Pastor for Worship and Education for years. He is currently completing a Master’s degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Brian and Laura have three young adults in their household who are completing their respective educations, plus four dogs who refuse to learn anything at all. Sarah, a Florida native, is a long-time Clearview member who loves serving, learning about Jesus and encouraging others! She has served in our Children’s Ministry for about 14 years through various roles, from caring for babies in the nursery to teaching Children’s Church, and she is thankful for her current opportunity to serve our children, their families and our children’s teachers as Children’s Ministry Leader. When she’s not at church, you’ll probably find Sarah spending time with her husband and her two boys, enjoying the outdoors or reading a good book.

Jena is from Hokes Bluff, Ala. She moved to Birmingham to attend UAB, where she later worked in administrative roles assisting with research awards. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Univ of Phoenix and has also attended Liberty University.  She is currently working on fiction and devotional writing projects. In 1980, God removed the scales from her eyes and revealed His amazing love to her after reading a book. Her desire now is to use her writing to show God’s love to others. She has served in numerous ministries over the years and is grateful for these opportunities. She loves Jesus and His Word. She enjoys family time, animals, crochet, reading, outside walks, and campfires.
